There was a point in my life where I felt stuck and had a sense of hopelessness.
After the market crash of 2008, my life was turned upside down. I was working in a business that went belly up and I found myself without a job. Also, I was more than $50,000 in debt because of student loans and also my mental health was reaching its breaking point.
At the time, I wondered how I'd bounce back. I was just surviving rather than thriving, it turned that I had Bipolar Type II disorder along with ADHD and PTSD.
Now I'm doing better. What helped more than anything was shifting my mindset. Instead of feeling sorry for myself for feeling stuck, I decided to take action. As a result, I'm now thriving instead of just surviving.
